At the end of January, Ukraine launched a program to exchange energy-intensive incandescent light bulbs for LEDs. During the first week of the program, Ukrainians exchanged one million light bulbs and started counting down to the second million.

It was announced that the EU is financing the purchase of 30 million LED bulbs for the needs of Ukrainians.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the massive replacement of old light bulbs with energy-saving ones will reduce electricity consumption by 7-10% during peak times.

LED lamps offer a number of advantages and savings over traditional lighting options:

Energy efficiency: LED bulbs consume significantly less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs, which reduces energy costs.
Long service life: LED bulbs can last up to 25 times longer than incandescent bulbs, reducing replacement costs and waste.
Durability: LED bulbs are more durable and less prone to breakage than traditional incandescent bulbs, reducing maintenance costs.
Improved lighting quality: LED lamps provide better lighting quality, including improved color rendering, brightness, and beam control.
Environmentally friendly: LED bulbs do not contain hazardous materials and are 100% recyclable, making them a more environmentally responsible choice.

Consequently, the benefits of LED lamps include lower energy costs, longer lifespan, better lighting quality, and less environmental impact.
