The Znamianka City Council and the Public Union “Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving” (PU UFEES) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This is an important step in the development of the Kirovohrad region, which increases the region’s participation in energy efficiency and thermal modernization programs.

Representatives of the public union visited the Znamianka community to discuss energy efficiency strategies for public buildings and digitalization plans to ensure Znamianka’s sustainability and modernity.

After fruitful negotiations, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding, setting out their intention to cooperate to increase the city’s energy independence, namely to actively implement energy efficiency measures, including thermal modernization of public facilities.

“We are pleased to announce the start of a partnership between the Public Union and the Znamianska community. Our goal is to open up new opportunities for communities by promoting energy efficiency and environmental protection,” said Yehor Stefanovych, Chairman of the PU UFEES.

“We are confident that the joint efforts of the Znamianska community and the PU UFEES will help create new opportunities and improve the quality of life of residents. Our joint plans include participation in the implementation of various programs, such as digitalization and thermal modernization of public buildings,” said Volodymyr Sokyrko, Mayor of Znamianka.

This partnership will not only improve the comfort and energy efficiency of the community but will also serve as an example for other regions that are also striving for energy independence.
