During the plenary session of the conference, Yehor Stefanovich, Chairman of the Board of the PU UFEES, delivered a presentation titled “Energy Efficiency – Driving Force for Renewal and Sustainable Development”. He emphasized the urgent need for the swift implementation of energy efficiency measures to enhance the quality of life and ensure sustainable development. Yehor Stefanovich underscored that energy efficiency is one of the most crucial components of sustainable growth. Local revitalization can be stimulated by the adoption of energy-efficient practices, and approximately 40% of the savings from these initiatives can be utilized by communities to fund their development.
“We at the PU UFEES are confident that energy efficiency is the wind that will fill the sails of Ukraine’s development. We urge all parties involved in the reconstruction process of our country to join the initiative of widespread implementation of energy-efficient measures,” Yehor Stefanovych stressed at the end of his speech.
