The PU UFEES team participated in the XV International Scientific and Practical Conference organized by the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

The conference, titled “Project Management: A Project-Based Approach in Modern Management,” brought together leading experts, scientists, and practitioners to discuss innovative approaches in Ukrainian industry and analyze current trends in project management, particularly their impact on the development of Ukrainian enterprises.

Special attention was given to social projects aimed at rebuilding the country amid the ongoing war. One of the key topics was the idea presented by Yehor Stefanovych, Chairman of the Board of the PU “Ukrainian Fund for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving” (PU UFEES), regarding the prospects of energy-efficient renewal in Ukraine. His statement that energy efficiency is the sail driving Ukraine toward renewal and sustainable development garnered strong support from the participants.

In his speech, Yehor Stefanovych emphasized that traditional energy sources have lost their relevance in the context of the prolonged war with Russia. It is time to unite efforts to reach a new level of energy independence for our country. He highlighted the importance of supporting programs for thermal modernization, solar energy development, and the digitalization of processes. PU UFEES provides expert support to communities, helping them participate in programs to enhance energy efficiency, including initiatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB) such as the “Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in Ukraine” project.

“As part of the ONOVA Public Initiative, launched by PU UFEES along with other members of the ONOVA League, we are promptly responding to today’s challenges and implementing innovations in each of our projects. Thermal modernization, solar energy development, and process digitalization are the key areas ensuring significant improvements in energy efficiency and contributing to the sustainable development of our partners — local communities.

I sincerely thank the conference organizers and our partners, the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the excellent organization of the event and for providing the opportunity to share ideas with like-minded individuals about the latest trends and aspects of investment project implementation in Ukraine. As Confucius said, ‘You have sails, but you cling to the anchor.’ So, we strive to release that anchor and move forward by adopting global innovations to ensure Ukraine’s energy independence,” emphasized Mr. Stefanovych.

The results of the conference will serve as a foundation for further research and development in the field of project management in Ukraine. The knowledge gained will help Ukrainian enterprises implement their projects more effectively and contribute to the national economy’s development, sustainable growth, and Ukraine’s energy-independent future.
