Public Union “Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving” continues to work on a joint project with the United Nations Development Program to replace windows and doors damaged during the hostilities.

As of the end of April, Enki Construction, which is the direct contractor, has installed more than 1000 square meters of new windows in communities in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Chernivtsi, and Dnipro regions.

Replacement of windows in dormitory No. 3 of the Bereznovsk Forestry College (Rivne region).

“Thanks to our participation in this project, we can see the amount of destruction that the war has caused in most regions of Ukraine. The public union is proud to be involved in the process of restoring homes and institutions important to communities,” said Anar Rafiyev, President of the PU UFEES.

It is worth reminding that the UFEES joined this UNDP project in November 2022. Enki Construction, an active member of Ukraine`s Renovation League ONOVA, is responsible for the implementation.

“It is important that the leadership of many communities now understands the need for energy-efficient renovation of damaged buildings. Along with replacing windows, experts provide consultations on thermal modernization, which can significantly reduce gas consumption, if necessary,” said Yegor Stefanovych, Chairman of the Board of UFEES.
