Energy Efficiency Training Seminar for the Communities of Chernivtsi Region

The Ukrainian Fund for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving (UFEES) held a training seminar on energy efficiency for the communities of the Chernivtsi region, supported by the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration.

The event was attended by representatives of local communities. During the seminar, the following key topics were discussed:

• Principles and general approaches to energy efficiency and energy independence of communities;
• Sources of financing for modernization projects;
• Technical aspects and project management in the implementation of energy efficiency measures.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation in the following areas:

• Selection of priority facilities for modernization;
• Organization of consultations and trainings for communities and the region;
• Search for and attraction of financial resources for project implementation.

Energy efficiency in the Chernivtsi region demonstrates strong potential and opens new opportunities for the development of territorial communities.
