Chernivtsi has become a platform for a powerful professional discussion on how healthcare facilities can save energy and modernize infrastructure.

The team of the Ukrainian Foundation for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving held a training seminar in the city for representatives of hospitals and healthcare facilities in Chernivtsi region. The event was attended by more than 50 medical institutions, which indicates a high interest in the topic.

Partnership and support of the region

The training was held at the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration and the Department of Health.

The regional authorities played an important role in its implementation, consolidating the efforts of communities, directing their actions and helping to implement energy-efficient solutions. Such interaction allows communities to move faster to achieve results and ensure systematic renewal of medical infrastructure.

What was discussed

– Strategies and solutions: overview of modern approaches to improving energy efficiency in the healthcare sector.

– Sources of funding: grants, government programs, international funds, investment attraction.

– Technical side: how to prepare and draw up project documentation.

– Project management: step-by-step instructions from idea to implementation, so that each step is effective and clear.

Why it is important

Healthcare facilities are among the largest energy consumers in communities. Optimizing energy consumption can reduce costs, improve conditions for patients and staff, and direct the saved resources to the development of medicine.

The role of the Fund

The Ukrainian Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Fund:

– helps communities and regions prepare turnkey projects;

– provides training and consultations;

– assists in finding and attracting funding;

– works for results – from the first idea to the implementation of specific solutions.

Energy efficiency is not only about saving resources, but also about the real renewal of Ukraine.

We encourage communities and institutions to join our initiatives and build modern, energy-efficient infrastructure together today.
