On April 16, Kyiv hosted the Ukraine Business Outreach Workshop — a key event focused on fostering cooperation between Ukrainian businesses, communities, and international financial institutions in the process of rebuilding Ukraine. The event was held with the participation of the World Bank Group, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).

A particular focus of the workshop was on funding opportunities for energy efficiency and infrastructure modernization projects.

The PU “Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving” (PU UFEES) took part in the event as an active participant in the dialogue on recovery based on the principles of sustainable development and energy efficiency.

“Energy efficiency is not just a trend, but a foundation for Ukraine’s sustainable recovery. We see our role in helping communities and businesses implement projects that not only rebuild but also improve quality of life. Access to new financial resources enables the adoption of modern, resource-efficient solutions today,” — said Yehor Stefanovych, Chairman of the Board of the PU UFEES.

The public union continues to work on the development of practical mechanisms for implementing projects in the following areas:

  • modernization of public buildings;

  • increasing energy efficiency in the residential sector;

  • promotion of environmentally friendly public transport;

  • introduction of local energy management systems.

We are grateful to our partners for their fruitful cooperation and open exchange of experience.

We invite communities, municipalities, businesses, and professional organizations to join us in working towards an energy-efficient recovery of Ukraine.
