Public Union strengthens the policy of reconstruction and renewal."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have all become different<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!\u00bb<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is difficult, even mentally, to count how often, during the most difficult six months in the history of Ukraine&#8217;s Independence, each of us heard this saying from relatives and friends, acquaintances and colleagues, on the TV, etc. However, this simple phrase is a certain quintessence of what happens to every citizen of Ukraine in all aspects of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Public Uni\u043en <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bb<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> steadfastly accepts this challenge and currently continues to implement the determined course for the recovery of Ukraine and, inevitably, the modernization of its system of energy saving and energy efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-921 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/09\/Snimok-ekrana-2022-09-21-v-18.15.38.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1100\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/09\/Snimok-ekrana-2022-09-21-v-18.15.38.png 1100w, https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/09\/Snimok-ekrana-2022-09-21-v-18.15.38-300x295.png 300w, https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/09\/Snimok-ekrana-2022-09-21-v-18.15.38-1024x1005.png 1024w, https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/09\/Snimok-ekrana-2022-09-21-v-18.15.38-768x754.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1100px) 100vw, 1100px\" \/>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even before the large-scale invasion of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine, from the very beginning of the creation of the public union, its main task was to attract investors and potential customers for the implementation of thermal modernization projects in Ukraine. The PU team has many actualized projects for the implementation of an innovative energy efficiency system, and successful partnership cases for attracting foreign funds, including the EBRD bank, for the implementation of approved plans together with Ukrainian communities. The average effectiveness of the PU activity in the direction of thermal modernization of infrastructure reached 40% before Ukraine entered the period of martial law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, since the beginning of armed aggression and large-scale hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, all <\/span><b>forces of the PU \u00abUkrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving\u00bb were involved in the volunteer and humanitarian front.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the period of temporary occupation, and de-occupation, considering the extremely difficult conditions the most affected regions of the country found themselves in, the entire team acted harmoniously and effectively in many directions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Thermal modernization and energy saving projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Digitization of regions and communities. Restoring access to the Internet thanks to Starlink technology \u2013 50 terminals were handed over to communities as part of the humanitarian mission.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Evacuation and accommodation of the people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Assistance to defenders. Production and delivery of personal protective equipment to soldiers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Participation in the development of projects and the search for financing for the reconstruction of social infrastructure facilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Cooperation with UNICEF in a joint humanitarian mission to provide medical facilities in Ukraine \u2013 more than 900 tons of medicines and medical equipment were delivered.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Participation in the construction of temporary housing for forced migrants from the east of Ukraine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> International media projects for recording events related to russian aggression in Ukraine.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, understanding the difficulty of the situation in Ukraine and the need for reconstruction, it was decided to reformat and scale the activities of the public union to renew Ukraine as a whole. There are many urgent tasks in the plans and projects for the reconstruction of Ukrainian communities and even individual branches of the state and at the same time their renovation within the framework of modern social needs, comfort, thermal modernization, and compliance with EU norms and standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this, the foundation&#8217;s specialists in partnership with \u00abESRI Ukraine\u00bb LLC (representative of Esri (USA)) and the public organization \u00abElectronic Ukraine\u00bb have developed innovative technological resources, such as <\/span><b>ONOVA GIS HUB<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>GIS Portal \u00abRebuild Ukraine Together\u00bb<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. As of today, they are already implemented and <\/span><b>applied in 20 communities and in cooperation with relevant ministries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. And soon the members of the unity will separately present the public part of the portal, which will be available to all who are interested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-853 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/07\/GIS3.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"622\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/07\/GIS3.jpeg 1280w, https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/07\/GIS3-300x146.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/07\/GIS3-1024x498.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/ufees.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/07\/GIS3-768x373.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Considering the expansion of priorities and areas of activity, the organizational structure of the fund was also strengthened. <\/span><b>From now on, it has a supervisory board<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Its head is PU president Anar Rafiyev.
