PU volunteer mission. How an IDP camp was organized in Kolomyia.

A camp for internally displaced persons, organized with the support of the PU “Ukrainian Fund of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving”, has hosted hundreds of internally displaced people since the start of the full-scale military invasion.

 

In total, volunteers from the Public Union evacuated more than 250 families from the hotspots, some of whom temporarily stopped at the camp and went abroad, and some are still there.

According to Maryana Yuriychuk, director of the educational institution in Kolomyia, on the basis f which the camp is located, the Public Union organized regular meals, and arranged sleeping places and recreation areas for the camp residents.
